about private server

Is it possible to setup a server so i can play it alone without needing two computers? like for example ragnarok offline you dont need to connect two computer..

i have downloaded VMware workstation and CentOS with installed cabal server so when it ask for windows ip, (i use the run>cmd>ipconfig) i only have two connection with IP address and both are VMWare (1 & 8).

so i was wondering if iits possible to create a server for myself because i want to play alone anyway, not a LAN party.... so it would be more like a single player game, connect to a server and play on my own without needing internet or another computer for LAN... anybody know how?

I dont know alot about connection and such so pardon my ignorance and i hope you guys have patient.

Cabal needs two PCs for the server to be online , one Linux + one Windows XP , not sure it will work with only one

And if you want to play online , just create a server and don't make it public ...

i see... so its not possible for me to play it alone like a single player game without internet or another computer?

You realy can do it but will be very laggy

Use your windows + a virtual machine for Linux
