Just 1 quick question

Hello guys, so i've been following every single step by this video and it works perfectly (im at 11mins step now - open dekaron.exe) [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Everything opens fine with no errors, but i didnt download his client (currently downloading) so i got one question:

I got the old 2moons client with unpacked data, can I use it as my pserver client? Just to me and couple friends, and if i can, what should I change to dekaron.exe open?

And HellSpider Dekaronserver.exe

Do you know any a2-3-4 exe? I mean without new classes + aloken, and one with low bugs if possible. and thanks for the answer!!


edit: client opens, but I get cannot connect to the server, how can I fix this?

u can remove aloken

check channelist and loginlist

my ip or 127.0.0.1?


edit; trying with the 127.0.0.1 in the .ini's files and my ip on channel&login list files, lets see if it works

What files do i need to change in 2moons client, what IP's i should put in config files and in channellist and loginlist etc

you should put on server side all 127.0.0.1 in the config.ini , and if u want to use public ip just put it on share/channelist and loginlist or 127.0.0.1 if u want local for urself. and depends what client of 2moons u downloaded. cus if u get older then 2007 A2 2moons beta then u have to fix alot files before it loads them. which i wont use if i was u xD A2 is best way to learn howto add new stuff and it loads 100% by just installing and unpacking it so easy for the beginner devs to start a server without fixing yet :)
