Classic Esro Returning (10th Degree Sever)

The Elite Sro Team is planning on bring back the classic Elite Sro 10th Degree Sever.

Overview:
Elite Sro Was the the first psro server running official Black Rogue 10th Degree files that allowed players to experience game play with European Characters. Elite Upon it's first months of opening Elite Sro Attracted over 5k + uniques players throughout the sro community.

Our Reason:
Our reason for trying to revive Elite Sro is Simple, The Elite Sro Community was very unique, it is something you can't ever duplicate. Elite Sro's Community was a community created by the players for the players.

Team:
To Start the Admin is no longer the owner or part of Elite Sro Team.
The Team consist of most of of our old team members and myself.

Before Re-Launching the server we would like to conduct a poll to see how many players are still interested. In Returning to the ELite Sro Community.

The only reason why esro succeded was mentioned on your post.

It is not unique anymore, so it will fail, it was like an ECSRO/MHTC but with european chars, they were populated because there was no alternative to them.

Don't get ahead of yourselves just yet.

The "elite sro" community as you call it is now playing better servers. Servers they can choose by themselves, servers they like. ESRO wasn't special because it was a masterpiece, it wasn't even special to begin with. The only thing it owes it's huge playerbase was the newest server files version. Right now eSRO is nothing.

It wouldn't be successful, unfortunately.
Because the kids who played on eSRO rather play on free silk 140 cap degree 17 pwp serwers.

Even the admin knew that eSRO was dying slowly so he ran out with the cash, you'll just lose your time / money re-opening it

There's too many servers out now so I suppose you're too late, as 90% of the community are playing other servers, and the 10% would join your server expecting free stuff

The reason why we asked is because we found a old backup since november 2011

We do know that esro wasnt anything special but in my opinion thats exactly what sro community needs right now.An old school stable server because if you guys can recall , those new and "unique" servers with tons of modifications dont last realy long as eventualy people grow bored of them.

For those of you who dont know,the server got shut down in december and all backup data was lost because of a misunderstanding with the hosting company.

The only backup db we have now is from 20.10.2011.

P.S: @haze prior to the shutting down we were still nr 2 or something like that server (in players playing) with above 700ish at all times

Yes . non edited servers were great back in time :/

One of the only other reasons it succeeded was the constant barrage of ddos from the admin to our servers. People went there to be able to play. Also, I dont care if you all want to flame I will just ignore it.

eSRO's admin was ddosing everyone around?

ddosing who?
eSRO was the only server when they were active(ZSZC and swSRO had no need to even bother, they weren't like many servers that only by ddos can compete).
when the files out, there was no need to ddos, the admins escaped

Everyone can open a non-modified server. Again, the only reason for the players playing there was that there was no real alternative to updated gameplay, after the files were released the only players that stayed there were people bond to their guilds-characters and multiclient bots.

You are trying to make esro look like something unique and special, when it wasn't, ever.
