i ran across this in a shaiya p-server forum but its not there anymore so im asking if anyone knows how to lock the skill bar by modifying the Skill.Data file in the Shiaya packet. thanks to anyone who can direct me to a link cause i have looked all over this forum and googled it with no luck.

A bit of manners wouldn't be bad, but hey, homo sapiens is going through a devolution process, so I'm not surprised.
Did you mean:
1) Locking the Hot Key bars so you cannot move them ?
2) Setting the skills and actually having them there when you log in next time ?
3) Sticking the skill on the hot key bar so you don't remove it by mistake ?
2 of my assumptions are quite stupid, but I had to include them.
If you tell us what you exactly mean, someone may be able to help you.

yes, locking the skill bar to stop removing skills during pvp cause its so annoying. thanks for any help

hmm actually the "SKILLWNDLOCK" option (Video group) exists since the very first day.

Couldn't find SKILLWNDLOCK in the CONFIG.INI so I simply added the following line as the last line in the [VIDEO] group in the CONFIG.INI :
SKILLWNDLOCK=TRUE
Works perfectly.

thnx alot guys i will try this but im pretty sure it will work fine too. in OS shaiya they have a skill window lock button but not on p-servers
