Windows vista x64 sp1 any good ?

Hello

I was thinking of downloading vista sp1 x64 ultimate i was just wanting to know if anyone else is using this os and is it any good for games and programs etc


just that my new pc needs a good os

options are

windows vista x64 ultimate sp1:confused:
windows vista x64 ultimate sp2:confused:


is sp1 better than sp2 ?????

Get Windows XP SP3 ;) <= It's the best way to play Games

Im using windows vista x64 ultimate sp2 and havent had any problems at all with games or programs..

You should be fine using this.

tyvm invisible btw im now installing windows vista x64 ultimate sp1 now 1 more question can i download sp2 once i install sp1 possibly going to windows update or such ?????? get back to me and thanks

windows 7 is a fine build and a great os better than xp and vista but i need something that will last along time so i will wait for windows 7 the final build then i will buy it as i love it i would install windows 7 right now i have 7127 rc build but im still not sure on installing as its always going to be updated lol anyway ill get back to you on this once i install an os ill tell you which one i went for thankyou for the help guys enjoy the day xx

yes, you can update from sp1 to sp2.. you could download sp2 manually or just use the windows update service
