i lately played abit around with weps. I used Aion files for that and this is what came out :p

Nice ! Aion has a lot of very nice ... things (weapons and gears and shapes and all actually).

What about a small tutorial - some guidelines - to import Aion stuff into Shaiya world ?

Not to reinvent the wheel (how open & unpack a .pak file and so on) but basically which archive to process (its path) and tips regarding .3DO convertion (if required, and to provide reqiured tool) will be greatly appreciated.

well for the ones that rly want to do stuff like that i woulnd mind to explain but they will need a little amount of money aswell for the program which is needed otherwise its not possible at all. so if some1 rly want to know how and is able to invest money ( around 50$/40€ - for the program) i wont send him away at all. Just send me a pm or as i mentioned above add me in skype and i can explain it to u but i wont write a full guide out. So the ones that are realy intrested in that will be welcome but only these ;)

Nice but i think not all weapon work right? only the weapon from the picture?

its possible to get all weps to work if u convert them propper. its always just a matter of time and tries

as a lot ppl sended requests and asked in the same message for fury weapons i will do soon a set of weps for furys aswell so stay tuned and in case they are done i will post them here D:

well i guess the bow is fine enough because i kind of thought these look ugly <.<

i love the aion weapons but i'd like to recolor them. i am having issues with that because i only get a black dds file. i ve tried the no alpha with all the 3 kinds of mip maps and the DXT5 bla bla interpolared alpha. still no result. is there something i m mistaking in saving the dds file?

Don't bump a thread that is over a year old.
Sounds like you are opening the wrong type of file if it's appearing as all black to start with.
Or your DDS is actually empty and has no design in it..
