invalid characters

Err..Anyone seen that thing when you try creating a new char with "-" or ">" and stuff like that it says invalid characters?
I think its client sided but i do not know >.< it doesn`t seem to connect to the server or something..might be in conquer.exe?

yes there is a client side check,i usto be able to send myown create char packets but names with Gm and were still blocked(or atleast it wouldent work for me).asfor spaces and shit in names now im not sure if there is a server check on thoes.realy the only thing that i found out was you can create multi acounts with the same log-in..not all playable at the same time but you could delete one acount then the next one you created would already be made
