how to edit itemnames for blue/elite drops?

hi

as i know in the itemtemplate.ini are the names stored, which we can edit for faster seeing between many drops specially in new worlds.

example:

Blode Ring to XXX BLODE RING XXX
Armour of Gott to XXX Hunter Icearmor (Gott) XXX

what i want to know is how can i decrypt/encrypt the *.ini and *.txt files stored in Archlord/Ini

And is it possible to change the color of the item names,too?

so that blue drops names colored in blue on the ground?

hey , as for the decryptor , here it is , its made by "masculio" i guess.

and i guess its possible to change the names and color but this is usefull only for a bot , anything u change is only client sided , so the server will act normally , u will just see the results u want but u wont get them.
EXAMPLE: i tried to hack the portals so that i dont use money when i travel , it was showing that it just takes 0 gold but after i travel and open inventory , server took the money :D
OR : i tried to make a level 40 quest to be available at level 1 , but same , it was available but i couldt activate it :D

And here is some help , just drag and drop over that file and it will decrypt, drag it over again and it will encrypt.
x.INI---->[INIDECRYPT]---->X.INI_ (DECRYPTED , JUST RENAME IT)
X.INI_--->[INIDECRYPT]---->X.INI_(ENCRYPTED AGAIN, ALSO RENAME IT)

and sorry for using edit button ".Dani" i forgot to post the help :D

yes, i know most is serverside, but some things clientside can help,too.


but dont can`t find the color for drop names when they on the floor , still searchin for it.

wanted to make different colors for new world drops & uniqs if that is possible.

dont know if i wrong, but in mind i have that new world drops was in the past in different colors on the floors as normal drops. so i came to the idea the names to edit :)

ok this works a charm :)


scan all you like. works for me. and i never found it affect my computer/ system...

to make it work ...
1. extract the .exe to a new folder
2. copy the .ini from archlord to the new folder
3. drag and drop the copied ini file on the .exe

this will creat a new file something like "blablabla.ini_" .
you can now open this in notepad :D

to convert back
1. drag the converted file over the exe.
this will make a new file called "blablabla.ini_file"
2. rename it back to blablabla.ini

ding dong ...

WIN :D

i have added a ss, what i get. new names work for me

nice .. one thing i tried is.
getting item infomation like the item ID number

then adding it to the mearchants list of what they sold.. i kno this may be server side.. but it was worth a try.. maybe anyone can extend on this

hi i can't rename on mine . . . i think i didn't change the right file.ini can u tell me wich is or are ?

i search to add some info on realms drop for see them more quickly like Snakor do on his screen it's would be nice if you can help me :) thx by advance

goto archlord/ini folder

search for itemtemplate.ini file , its around 6mb. that the file you want to edit.
use the search function from editor for the names you want to edit, bcuz the file is very big.

dont forget to decrypt the *.ini file before you open it with editor , otherweise you can`t read anything. and after you changed all you want, encrypt it again.
