[Mini-Release] 8.1 Database in SQL-Format

04/05/2013 13:59 Xijezu#1
Hey,

Since I saw a lot of people having problems with the restore of the Databases, I thought about converting them into the .sql-format instead of using the regular .bak-format.

What's the difference?
Those "scripts" will create a completely new and empty database, means the .ldf (Log-File) is empty (the most releases do have a .bak with full of unnecessary stuff), so you wont get any errors like "The .bak is too big for SQL Express" or similar.
Also those .sql-files are compatible with every SQL Server version out (e.g. SQL 2005, SQL 2008, etc...).

INFO:
  • The Auth in this release is originally the Auth by Pyrok's 6.2(?) release, it does NOT contain the IPBan-table.
  • To create the Arcadia-database, run the Arcadia-Structs.sql, then the Arcadia-Content.sql
  • Don't use this script if you already have an Auth/Arcadia/Telecaster, it will drop those!

Just double-click on the .sql-file and click on execute (or press F5).

I didn't test them, so if there are any issues, please post them here.

1. Correct me if i'm wrong but there are missing a lot of indexes in the telecaster script^^ Looks like your break was too long :P

2. I allready released the complete 8.1 telecaster script.

I added the official 8.1 Telecaster Script with all Indexes for Character DB. This script isn't created by me i found it somewhere in the internet...

And my old IDX Fix for the 7.4 Scripts don't know if this will fix all problems in the 8.1 Script.
