Need help with making a CSS server

i need help with making a dedicated private CSS server for me and few of my friend on linux
can any1 help me to make one ?

i know how to make css server over linux
but the problem is
server.cfg i cant put it as he shows over filezila nor do i know how to put it
im using a virtual server that i bought from some company,so i cant open a program like that

Do you mean, how to make a Mod on the Server like Deathmatch/Surf/Deathrun/GunGame?

Sorry but i cant translate this. I know now that you know, how to make a Server but i dont know your real problem.

Which System do you use? You said that you cant open Filezila or?

for some reason i cannot connect to my server with filezilla......dont understand why wont it let me inside my server

Did you use the Port 21 and the right IP?

Your Username and Password must be also correct.

Hello.

At first you have to check whether there is installed a ftp server program like proftpd. when there is nothing installed you have to put the following in your terminal program (eg. putty):

Code:

apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
apt-get install proftpd

then the server will install the ftp server. So you can connect with filezilla.

seems my server didnt have enough RAM so i couldnt make the server
so the thread can be closed.........

(about everything else,i was able to connect with a different program,and everything worked fine,but as i said,this virtual server that i have,i bought it from some company,and it has really small amount of RAM so i cant get the server up on it.....)
