Which public source would be the best to learn from?

I'm just getting into c# and was curious which public source would be the best to learn from? I don't want to use a source and learn bad habits from it. So which would be the best?

Hybrid's various sources likely. They are all very well writen and from what I've seen don't contain major "no no's" as far as the program design is concerned. They are a touch more tricky to read through if you're just starting out.

Might suggest looking at hybrid's 5017 basic source or immune's 5165 as a base to start reading through then work your way up to writing your own (basic) source once you're comfortable in the language.

Albetros is a nice resource but I have a hard time recommending it anymore now that I'm so painfully aware of how bad a number of the design decisions were.

None of them. They all have bad habits, and they're all more or less poorly coded (with the exception of few which are NOT friendly for new programmers). If you want to learn a few things, make socket projects and learn the basics of OOD - don't start with a mmorpg private server.

Not a finished source, but the base is kinda done.

You can choose other versions that has less finished here: (In case you want to know how it was developed over time etc.)

The revisions goes down to when the auth was not even finished.

In case you just want to peek, look the source online here:
