Now you see that's where the problem lies. Can you convert from standard BINARY to ASCII and convert that edited ASCII back to the relevant binary again?

Useful but in essence it's useless in the grand scheme of things.

to be honest i use this tool to get monster and npc id's :p. anyway man i have the kallista and ronelia map file. when i start the mapid it says npc not found?

Just run and point rohan/data/*.bin when the opendialog show.Some rohanconverter just show ID,Name and extract it to .txt and other have edit capability :D

I believe this is rohan bin converter as thread title said "Rohan bin > text convert" mean this can only convert .bin to .txt ... You can use HxH hex editor. for ex: itemweapon.bin format 3664 bytes per item.. first 4 bytes= bool | then 4 bytes=ID ... find the pattern. Check itemweapon script that will help a lot figuring out the pattern.
