What is the reason for your application?

Dekaron section needs an active moderator as soon as possible. There are multiple threads posted in wrong sections, questions asked in release sections, spam and other junk of this kind all over the place. Everyone is tired of seeing people post useless stuff like "THANKS" in a 5 years old thread.

Experience with the subject:

Since the very beginning I've been playing Dekaron (2moons at the time) when they started the open beta. I know pretty much everything in this game and I'm one of not many people who know the game from the good side and from the "dark" side.

Are you mentally prepared and fitting for such a position?

Yes, I used to rage at people who ask stupid questions, but lately I'm taking it all relaxed and not really serious. I figured out that raging doesnt really work out good for your reputation, so I rather report people, than ragequit on them. As you can see from my past, I used to get infractions quite often, but I have changed and havent received one since october last year.

Experience as a moderator:

I used to be a GM (then HGM, its very similar to moderator job) and a GFX team member on the top Mu online server (at least back then.. it was #1)
I know the rules and I love to enforce them. People who come here and register an account just to post one question should know it and also know that they wont get the answer unless they follow the rules. It happens to everyone, whether it's an old member or a newcomer. I always try to enforce the rules and usually people follow me when I start doing that. I don't really believe in repeating small warnings.

YES from me.

I've had him as a contact for a very long time. Knows the whole Dekaron scene like he would be born in it. :)

This is a great guy, he knows every pserver and knows global better the the official devs i am sure of it, always has an answer for me when i ask, and the times he doesnt he knows who to send me to who can answer it, i cant think of a better addition to any forum staff, he doesnt take crap from ppl (he doesnt take my crap lol) i am confident he will have only the best interest of the section in mind, even if it means he has to infract ppl he knows, i hope im not one of them lol, but i would gladly accept one from him. if he thinks i deserve one, i prolly do ;) would be awesome to have him moderating the DK section.

so YES x2 from me as well

Damn good guy. Known him for years, ever since he helped me start one of the many pservers i started. Very professional and courteous, unlike your typical blowhards on here.

One of the few people that I'd vote for. Yes.

So this part is where things get interesting. I might just totally misunderstood the message, yet that quote sounds to me like as soon as you are mod, you are going to warn the hell out of everyone. You even appear to be kinda eager to punish someone. That, I find somehow disturbing about your application.

well I knew someone would take it this way sooner or later. as much as I'd love to, the last thing I'd do is give out warnings/infractions for no reason. if there's no valid reason to give out an infraction, it should not happen. Why? because the person can just go to the complaint area, get it removed, embarrass me and show me to the others as a person filled with hatred, which, of course, is not good.

Actually I never talked about unfair infractions, but as you mention it: Your reason why you should not give unfair infractions is just very weak and not of the kind I'd like to hear from a future moderator. There is one main reason why unfair infractions should not be given: Because they are not fair. As simple as that. You can't punish someone who has done nothing wrong.
Back to what I said earlier: You appear to be very eager to give infractions. Yet that is not how it works. As a moderator, you must be able to judge whether a warning, an infraction or just some kind of friendly reminder is required. You can't just go ahead and ban everyone. Of course I am exaggerating, but this is what your intention seems to be for me. Your last post just proved my assumptions.

You have 1 post, and you didn't come up with any reasons.

as I said, if there's no valid reason for an infraction (and here I meant any type of warning/infraction) to be given, then it wouldnt happen.

no, doing that wouldnt really make much sense, dont you think? I know how the 'other side' works and I also know, that if there would be no reaction from the community side, then sooner or later I'd be left alone with huge damage done to the section. I'm not some 'new man with ambitions' that wants to show himself off how good he eliminates the 'bad guys'. I'd rather try to keep the section spam-free, not people-free :D as that's what I understood from your the second part of your post.

thank you for your opinion though. it made me think that I didnt express myself fully and perhaps made others misunderstand my intentions.
