Need some help

Well, mostly I just started to try on making an Eudemons Private Server, although there are a few errors for my AccServer. I just tried to start the ACCServer up, and it just disappears (yes, I know its a mysql error). I keep thinking that it has something to do with AuthorizeDB.cfg since I decided to use a different password for my db (safety first lol).

AuthorizeDB.cfg:

Code:
127.0.0.1 root YPg4Gmz my account name password id
count_stat server_name status
127.0.0.1 YPg4Gmz 4871344843773d3d111 my
There is no need to give me the fixed version, just tell me what to do [I wanna learn =P].

So, can anyone help me out here?

Note: If you want to help me through MSN, my email is [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

The only file that needs to be hex edited is the shell.dat in the gameserver folder.

umm , thats right if you mean [GAME SERVER FOLDER ONLY] but you have to HEX EDIT libmySQL.dll in the Account Server Folder also to change the pass :p
05/18/2009 13:57 Haiku01#7
Where in libmysql.dll should I edit it?
05/18/2009 14:20 Spy520#8
Search for the Pass that was in AuthorizeDB.cfg before you edited it then change it to the New one you maid
NOTE : NEVER USE BACKSPACE IN HEX EDITING JUST REPLACE OR USE SPACE

Have you completely lost your mind? The libmysql.dll is a standard dll file that helps a program query a database. Therefore editing it to change a "password" is completely useless.

Shut up and respect other members here or get out , you have 1 post only
and yeh you have to edit them and Shut up x2
05/19/2009 21:32 DemonicCoding#12
So now respect is based on posts and not knowledge? Hmmm when did that happen? If you dont know what your talking about, then perhaps you shouldnt say anything at all. Just because your post count is higher then mine, you have already proven in this topic alone that your knowledge of the way these dlls work fails. So before you tell someone to shut up, get your facts straight, or dont say anything at all.

For that matter have you even looked inside the libmysql.dll to see whats in there? Most likely not.

Well iamn't the only one who said you have to edit this file but also Necron did
And i Don't care about Post Counts but you have 2 post means you have to know who are pro here and who aren't
05/20/2009 00:07 DemonicCoding#14
I know who the pros an not pros are of these forums. Just because I decided to sign up to point out your failure doesn't mean I'm not knowing. And if as you say Necron edited it, then he himself messed up. Do a simple google search on libMySQL.dll and you will see that what I say is the truth.

Ok Mr.Pro , Is this Problem Solved now
