what a mistake I assume the server and auth server Rappelz turn gives me an error, what to do? please help,such a thing to me pops

Your services are not running.

Or the ownership of the DB (sa) and the password has not been set in the DB or in the .opt files and compressed to .eop files.

Layman terms you did not set up DB access authorization properly.

Check out the 7.4 guide, even if you are trying to set up a different version the steps are pretty much the same...

The steps are the same.

It is application level instructions in the guide not operating system level.

The only thing that may be operating system level is Windows advanced firewall setup, but that can't have changed that much.

you can but you need Windows XP SP3 but its not as stable as win7 sql 2008r2 so it bugs out at times and even trys to refuse sql execution 0.01% of the time till you reset the server
