Start Button

mabye it has allredy been asked.. but i cant see the start button.. i tryed to reinstall with the anti virus closed, the firewall desactivated.. still cant get it right.
someone can help?

Re-install Silkroad.

allready did it, didnt work at all

You could have mentioned that in your post ^^.

Run it as admin, see if that works.

what is to run it as admin?

2 Years before, it waqs a bug when too much people
start Silkroad per "Start Button"..
But re-install won't help not yet and wouldn't help another time.

Open the "Silkroad.exe" or Launcher and dont move your mouse.
It sound crazy but that's the way how i can fix the bug temporary xD

it doesnt work either. and if i go to the folder and i execute the sro client.exe it opens the game but when i try to log in it says " failed to connect to server (c8) "

of course it does.you should be opening it via silkroad.exe :p

Anyway,try entering [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] ,leave the site opened,and try again.Also,don`t move your mouse and start button might just show up(it really works).

So,open site,click Silkroad.exe,freeze! should work.
Reply here if it didn`t work tho.

if you mean the sro_client located on the folder i double click it, then i freeze the mouse, but anyway when y type mi account and pass it always says failed to connect to server c8..
if you are refering about the launcher.. i freeze it too, but wont appear the start button

add this to /Windows/System32/Drivers/etc/hosts:

121.128.133.26 gwgt1.joymax.com

If still doesn`t work,remove them and add these lines:
121.128.133.26 gwgt1.joymax.co.kr
121.128.133.26 gwgt1.joymax.com
121.128.133.27 gwgt2.joymax.co.kr
121.128.133.27 gwgt2.joymax.com
64.152.34.142 joymaxnpro.nefficient.com
121.128.133.12 silkroadonline.net

doesn't work.. none of those 2 works..

HI i had some sort of same problem, this is how i fixed and diagnosed it. Turns out it was some sort of virus or something. Just see if you can open Regedit.exe , then you know its not SRO's problem, but if regedit does open then its something else and these steps are usless xD

Try this and see what happens

step 1) go Start, then run

step 2) type regedit.exe and click run

step 3) if your screen goes blank on you background and nothing appears just ur desktop screen then go to step 4. If regedit appears then i cant help you sorry.

step 4) If you were unable to open regedit then u have some sort of virus or something, google: regedit.exe crashes explorer.exe.

Hello Nachoz !

I had this problem too.

Try this :

Go into your silkroad folder which is in "program files" then launch "silkroad.exe" and it would works.

When I had this problem I went open "silkroad.exe" into my silkoad folder and it worked !

If still don't work try to launch silkroad when there is no lot of people on ... like the night or morning, but it depend in which country you live !
