[help]Adding exe codes.

heey, im trying to add A3 skill effects like bounce defender ACTION_DISALLOW_TARGET and others like urzer gain etc. any one got ideas how to ? i found the codes for the options in the exe but i dont know how to add it correcly xD

I'm a noob in ASM, but what i would do is adding codes in a new memory and replace the old codes into JMPs to the new codes

But probably this is not enough (or its just the wrong way) to make the effects working properly lol

May I ask what this information is based on?

Not to sound arrogant, but I'm pretty sure I know well enough what I'm editing. And I'm interested who is significantly better in editing stuff than I am, honestly.

And sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not clueless on this matter, I'm just busy with studies, thus not working on Dekaron pserver at the time being.

If you can edit the exe and produce a working bounce defender (based on how it was in A3 -> target loss + screen flip) through the status code, then I will take back what I said.

I know of 2 people who are still active in exe editing that are better, it's the reason an A9 private server will be coming out soon enough :P

Better? u mean those who have wasted more time...While theyve been wasting time getting a9 to work...Hell's been making money doing freelance work when he doesnt have school...Dude u have to be one of the most retarded guys on these forums...U come in and think u know everything there is about dekaron and the people who develop for it. Hellspider couldve had the aloken before eternia had i not lost a power supply due to lightning. BTW name the 2 that are better...show their work we've been hearing about this server for almost a fkin yr now...in the same time some BETTER coders could have made an emu...

The point remains the same, people have/are doing better things with with dekaron.

I don't act like I know, I point out facts. There are 2 people working on the A9 project that has made it into an almost 100% playable game with the updates 11 classes. Dude your bullshit videos mean nothing. You guys took almost a year to make the game playable with "2" exe experts that Toni couldve had working in 6 months by himself. I asked him at the time of the release of the jp executables if he wanted to work on it and he said no. Just because he didnt work on that doesnt mean he hasnt done shit with his time. Tell u what...get one of ur guys to unpack the newest global dekaron exe and get back with him on that. Fucking erks me. To call the man clueless is stupid when he knows more about the Dekaron executable in one pube then your whole teams noggin. And hell requested u state who it is that knows more then him...And u completely ignored his request so i will ask the same...WHO?

BTW if anyone wants to help with another project (no fake devs...serious project) I have some source codes to a fps zombie survival mmo game.

I'm not going to say I know as much exe editing as anyone on here but I've done my fair share (basically adding all the new chars which everyone else has already done). But If he knows how to, and can produce working skill effects from the empty codes in the exe than why hasn't he? I'm sure he could sell it for a few hundred to each server (considering Zirak's work sold for a few thousand from what I heard).

I'd be interested in working on the zombie thing with you since there is source code, but dunno if you would be willing to get past this thread. (I'm a programmer outside of being a forum dick).

Ziraks work is being sold for 500$ btw...Sure..have any C++ knowledge?

Not as much as I've done with others, but it's basically just syntax conversion to do things in C++ atm.

I talk to hellspider everyday on MSN and trust me he spends like 95% of his time studying. And he's so busy since he started his studies, it's hard to get the simplest answer from him, you really need to do something fancy to convince him to do some research. But you saying that he's not good won't make him do it, he's over that lol.
