L2Walker for Windows 7

Now here is a feat in itself if someone can find a L2Walker that works with windows 7. Every time I try to run one L2.exe stops working and I don't know why, but when i just click on L2.exe it loads up without a problem. Lol More preferably Walker 2.05 so I can use it on the server I am on now. Thanks in advance with everyone who tries to help. :)

Same problem, tried both walkers 2.13 and 2.14k, also tried lunching with compatibility (xp service pack 2) in windows 7, but still did not get it to work. The issue is that walker would not launch l2 bin/exe correctly, creates some error without even login screen, so certainly problem is with windows 7 compatibility.

I really hope someone gets a fix for this one, windows 7 is a great system and have been around (both beta and rc) for a while by now. Someone plz come up with a solution and post.

L2NET works fine OOG and IG and Walker works OOG in Windows 7 for the moment.

I found a sollution for your problems guys. Maybe it's complicated a bit but it's working. Im using it until someone come up with something else :).
My way to run L2W ig on Windows 7 is this:
You have to download and instal VMware workstation, than u need to instal Virtual Windows XP (u need to have WindowsXP.iso file) on VMware. When u do that u will get Windows XP in Windows 7 :). You could have some problems with internet configure, but it's easy to find solition in google.
So, when you do all that steps, you need to just start your Windows 7, than run VMware next start Virtual Windows XP:). Now u need to copy Lineage 2 and L2w IG to your virtual hard disk. And now just u have to run L2w an enjoy your illegal practice in L2 world:p.
It;s working fine in my Win 7.

Does anyone else have another solution to making walker work on windows 7 besides using a virtual machine? I've been looking all night, literally... And haven't really found anything but old posts.

Does anything have come up by now?
