[RELEASE]Registration Script (ENG)

I just created this registration script so enjoy. Unlike the others that are posted around, this one is built from the ground up by me. Enjoy and dont forget to say thanks! Uses mssql();

Please post your comments and suggestions!!!! Ill have more tools on the way.

~Quick tut to get it working~
1. Download the rar
2. Extract it to a place where you can easily edit the files
3. Open up includes/db.php
4. Edit your information for your SQL server
5. Save and upload to a directory inside your htdocs, www, or public_html folder. One that you can access from a web browser
6. Navigate your browser to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
7. Tah da! a nice sleek registration page that you can use to have people play on your server!




!-!Developer notes-
--Uses mssql, if you get a undefined function error, you do not have the mssql module installed or activated on your hosting. If you run your own apache server, simply edit php.ini and enable it. If you do not own your own server and buy web hosting, it is likely that it is disabled. Php hosters dont enable it because it creates a lot of backlog that the majority of people will never use. PHP / MySQL is the best way to go, logically speaking; however, if you run a php_info(), and mssql isnt anywhere on that list than you will not be able to host a registration script under any circumstances.

---Fixed the md5() error, each entry is now unique; forgot to set $pass1 to the post variable.

yes, i dont need to use MYSQL, so im not gonna use it, look cool tho
but i prefer the other old reg page

The database is in MSSQL, MySQL wouldnt help anything...

The script isn't good. When you make an account you can't connect to it .
The problem is that at the USER_PROFILE it types in WRONG HASH ( The same hash for every password) and in TBL_USER posts the same wrong hash ... and in table use it is supposed to post the password that is not in MD5.
Example:
Let's say that the password i entered is 123456.
In Tbl_user in user_pwd it should post 123456 and at USER_PROFILE at user_pwd it should post e10adc3949ba59abbe56e057f20f883e( that's the MD5 hash for 123456) .

In exchange it posts this hash EVERYWHERE:d41d8cd98f00b204.

Well now thats an interesting error.... If you look at the code here:

$pass = md5($pass1);

it clearly md5's it.... The varible which is entered into the database is $pass.... and $pass1 is the $_POST superglobal from the form.... Lemme check on this error and ill get back to you.

Fixed the md5() error. I forgot to set $pass1 so that it would md5 the correct value :) Reuploaded as V1.1 :D

It doesn't work to create more then 10 accounts because.
When it searches for the User_No and it's 10 , it keeps adding the same user_no (10) to all other accounts,therefore it can't write in USER_PROFILE either cuz it has restriction for double posting.If you play with the restriction and you change it , the account will work but all the new accounts you make will be with the same chars on them .
Fix and reupload please! Thank you !
