DUAL AXT and WHAT GEMS??

hi all,
ich made me i azur knight dual axt.
now i want ot know what are the best gems for it, my friends said all lightning and ice but i want to know why is it the best ???

at higher lvl, most most mobs will have a higher resistance to fire damage than they do at lower lvl.

I always used Ice in my weaps because the Valder gloves also give you an additional ice damage stat +86 if memory serves.. I have recently made the switch to 5%-6% poison gems. They seem to work well, I really like my switch, seem to do a bit more damage actually.

In the end I think that it comes down do more of a personal choice. lolz what looks cooler to you :P

Poison gems will help you the most. The only character that typically has good poison resist is a Staff-based summoner. Also, not so many monsters have poison resistance.

Lightning and Ice tie for second best. Curse is the worst choice, because a lot of high-level monsters (and almost all bosses) have very high curse resistance. Fire is a poor choice because many monsters resist it strongly. However, not many players are prepared to counter fire damage, making it a bit better than curse in PVP.
