Step 1: Download

Step 2: Beta Account Sign up

The Account name: between 4 to 16 characters long, lower case letters or numbers, no number at the beginning

The Password: between 4 to 10 characters long, lower case letters or numbers, no number at the beginning

Error messages:

Account name isn't available

Passwords doesn't match

Captcha code is incorrect

Step 3: Installation


If you have downloaded all 5 Parts of the game copy them to a folder, but don't unpack them. Start the Setupexe namend "AION_Setup_0.9.5.0.exe"

Installation Steps:

Step 4: Patch the game

To start the patch click:
Start → Programms -> The second entry (beginns with Ó)

Now a window should open. Here you can choose the regional server (choose the last one)

After that the Launcher will open:

Step 5. Change language to english

Download the language package:

Copy the language pack to the installation folder and unpack it.
Example:
C:\Programms\SNDA\AION\ÓÀºãÖ®Ëþ\L10N
To the folder L10N.
The folder L10N should include this:
Folders: „CHS“ and„ENU“
Files: „CHS.pak“ and „ENU.pak“

Now you have to change the "region" to USA
Start → control panel → Regional settings

When i first launched the game and got to the log in screen I received an in game error msg telling me I couldnt connect. Sometimes a server might be going through an update. All I did to resolve this issue was switch server at the Aion launch pad.

I'm so close to getting this to work, but when it gets to the server select screen, I select a server and it locks up completely. One time I was able to get it to display the wait time to play, but I cancelled it and went outside to plant my wife a tree... ;)

Maybe I need to let it sit for a while? Anyone...

I found these in the thread below. Does any1 have working links of the MANUAL Patch? The ones below have errors. The Automatic one refuses to work for me. I've tried it a for a week now clicking it over and over.

i thopught u pay to play
or not?
if u have to pay what u need do?

Is this method still working? game still in beta for 2 months ?

who know how i can play free? cause when i log in my account -> You have expired all the time.. how i can play all time? who know please.!

when i am patching the game, i click the start patching button and something pops up after a while and then nothing, the patch doesn't finish

what happens to let you know that its done patching?
