Hello i have just started to host a private server and everything works perfectly i have no problem there, but i have a friend that lives out of state and is wanting to help me kinda host this server with changing files and keeping the server running while im away and that sort of thing....if you can help me with sharing the files so he can help change them without actually having to send the files or anything please reply or PM me

Well if you are hosting it on a server,
you can give your friend the login credentials for Remote Desktop Connection
If you are hosting it at home, you can use teamviewer or logmein to let him control your pc.

With Windows' built-in remote connection he can connect from his PC to wherever you are hosting the server, he would just need the log-in credentials

I think he meant to say that: He can't host it on his computer while he's away so he wants to give him all the files so he can host it further till he comes back.

yes Winky that is what i am trying to say...so he can run and edit the server and things from his computer while mine is off or i am away, i have been looking at a host but i dont know any good ones or cheap, any suggestions?

there is no cheaper server hosting that offers the needed requierements.
furthermore these hoster offers a realy nice support. I myself got a vps on that hoster aswell and they always provided me an epic service. i can only talk good about them tbh. but thats up to u.

I will look into it, $20 a month isn't really that bad.
now i just need to find EP6 server files to update my private server from 5.3 to 6.3 , if you can help with that too
