TQ Binary:Copyrighted you will learn nothing of it and there is a chance that your server got closed by TQ and there goes your time for nothing, you will get not enough help and there are more problems on TQ binary

LOTF:You will learn more things from LOTF and there is a little chance TQ will shut it down and LOTF is way better then TQ binary,With LOTF people will help you ASAP, and there are not much problems on LOTF

If you want to get a good server that work good Use LOTF
if ure using it GoodLuck on it

I`m not uber in C#, but believe me, you can`t really learn from LOTF. I learned a lot of stuff from it, then I actually started reading C# tutorials and realized what stupid kind of stuff I was doing. If you want to learn, I`d recommend reading a lot of C# tutorials, playing around with some programs that you make, and then try to work with Hybrid`s.

Does your friend Tanel stopped?

LOTF is alot better than CO Bin, just because its a source. Something that could teach you something will ever be a source and not a bin(until the bin can be decompilate and becames a source which means still bin sucks).

Well i do advise if you want to become good at coding and learn new things to use hybrids source, if you want a fun private server use LOTF ( this can also be done using hybrids sourec), if you want to be lazy..using tq binaries.

i agree with this 100 pct :D

Never looked at LOTF myself, from what I hear it has lots of hard-coded stuff instead of being modular. That really needs to be dealt with. Platform dependancy also is an issue, to have a server of any use you need a dedicated server to host it on, home broadband is a ridiculous way to do it, but ded servers cost more for windows than linux. Modifying source that is not your own is a good way to learn, but, writing your own is the only real way to be able to do stuff without having to ask for help coding it. So yea I agree, good way to learn, but ultimately, write your own.

The biggest issue with openly available source as well is that every single bug/glitch and exploit can be found in the source by people and abused in your servers. Don't host a serious server with it until you can be sure the source you are using is 100% bug free, and it probably never will be.
