Ideas for a new Online spacegame?

It basically just needs to be cool so every one can enjoy it and keeping it free would be a goal well for every one linked to this forum :) and even coming up with a bot that can help you unlike dark-orbit I would not ban someone using a bot but make it so you would have to use you name and password to this forum so it would always be linked to here. And outsiders would have to pay for certain things. So basicaly I have to come up with Maps,Ships,Ammo,Aliens,Levels,Drones,Bases and everything under the sun so the developing side of things will be a long process but worth it What do you guys think? :pimp:

if i had the smarts id remake the old DO exactly the way it was in 2009-2010 irregardless of the bugpoints rights, id just make sure they dont find out about it ^^ so if u want the old DO then Remake it exactly the way it was, backpage can change if u want it to but dont change the game screen i love the old game screen and everything . the way things shoot, collecting, boxing. but id reccomend making it just a lil easier to get uridium and stuff u know? like a 2x rates or 3x max

old d.o = darkorbit remix why don't you give it a bash everyone has just got bored of d.o face it, it has got old and boring why don't you move on to a new and better game like star trek or world of tank well better or do something cheaper like buying a consel e.g a ps3

Take a look at the pvp aspects of those videos. I used to love how i would go into thier X-1 maps and just dominate all the noobs but i kinda hated being called a noob popper so its justly rewarded there. but the idea remains. You want a good game? you would Remake the old DO and i will help however i can. but just like the other guy said, do x5 rates or better because it takes 1 month to a year to get full elite without premium advantages and many losses on the Trade market of Credits. honestly i think only 1 currency should be satisfactory but then thered be no use for trade market.

I like your post and yes as far as new games That are not Dark Orbit F That lol Otherwise we would not be on The DO Forum. You think BUGPOINT would throw a hissy fit about that or is there a way to make the server Private for this site.


OK I am going to make Old DO But for now It will Be an off line thing Can I use this Thread to ask People to Post all that they remember from the Old Darkorbit for my Reference Like Ship stats and NPC stats How many Credits you receive for popping them maybe Pictures of the Players HUD and other things that could help I however never had the experience to play ODO. All help would be very appropriated and rewarding if you like the Idea.

Yes Absolutely you may use this thread. if not this thread then start a new one. :) what i can try to do is remember the rewards from the NPCs. there was regulars bosses then ubers for everyone except Cubikons xD

I actually found some really really old client from back in December 2009 in a really old UDOBot folder. I hope to provide another client from back then.

I don't mind if people want to be lazy but I was once a botter to :) so making bots allowed would be nice for some people.
