Question regarding private servers.

I'm looking to run my own rappelz offline. Is this possible, if so how do I go about doing it, and where do I get files to do this? This is mainly for testing purposes, and the occasional fooling around I want to do.

you can try use the search function, epvp isnt like it used to before AOR......

well the thread i found has a video that was shut down. so there really is no other documentation on how to run the server or get it working etc... i really dont want to read 36 pages to see if there are any other bits of info :/ anyone else know of anything?

also does this include GM tools for summoning items or setting buffs etc..?

Well Following chinstraps link, I tried my hardest to install the files the way it specifies and nothing came out at all right. There is a missing thing entirely and I have no idea what now I can do to get this working :/ I REALLY want this working so anyone that can help me get this up I greatly appreciate it.

Ok, I reinstalled it and I found out there were more, greyed out, options. Anyway I'm having issues now with setting up the opt files. There are a few places I'm not sure what to put:




S db.auth.server:127.0.0.1
S db.auth.name:auth_server_name
S db.auth.account:auth_account_name
S db.auth._password:auth_DES_password
S app.name:auth_app_designation
S log.ip:127.0.0.1
S db.auth.port:1433
S io.auth.port:8841
N db.auth.use_webauth:0
N db.auth.use_md5:1
N db.auth.debug_md5:1
N db.auth.md5_key:5412

under AuthServer.opt, where it says S db.auth.name:auth_server_name, what am I suppose to put exactly?

and S db.auth.account:auth_account_name is the name I chose for the database yes?

lastly the gameserver opt has a few I'm not sure on either:


S db.c.name:arcadia_database_name
S db.c.server:127.0.0.1
S db.c.account:arcadia_account_name
S db.c._password:arcadia_DES_password

S db.user.name:telecaster_database_name
S db.user.server:127.0.0.1
S db.user.account:telecaster_account_name
S db.user._password:telecaster_DES_password

Where it shows S db.c.name:arcadia_database_name, what do I put?
and for S db.user.account:telecaster_account_name?
