cant play pfff

hello ppl.
i installed the game and when i open the game (since i got vista i start as adminstrator) i get [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

that was with the old SJSRO media.pk2 so i tried the new1 and i get the error
"the server is under inspections" both medias were downloaded from [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...].

what to do? i rly wanna play :P

I have the same problem, but nobody knows how to fix...
They will say we have to use mediapatcher but as vista user you will get this error when you launch: BSO error, memory».......

try to download that new media.pk2 file, 4-in-1 from this link [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Then set your silkroad.exe compatiblity mode for windows xp sp2 and aplly, it should work then. im using vista too and that fixed my problem.

is the SJSRO server over there is the new server or the old server?

umm..i don't know, try ?

well i got the pk2 file and now when i try to run it as administrator it says i dont have directX9b but i got directX10... so what to do? :<

right click on silkroad.exe , choose "compatiblity" tab , check the box and choose windows xp service pack 2.

but it seems my problems are far from over :S
i get ERORR 5 now. which when i checked was meant that sro_client is removed or smshit. well i turndoff anti-virus > reinstalled the game and i stilll have the error :S and i have the sro_client in my folder :<

uninstall your antivirus programs, reistall the game and try again.

yeah well i tried it... seems vista will make everything harder then its supposed to be. i had AVG free adition that came with the pc. and i tried from day1 to uninstall it :S its not in the "add/remove programs" or such... if u have anyidea ill gladly use it

edit: nvm i ran a search i uninstalled. it didnt work so i tried deleting everything that belongs to AVG and still doesnt work :< im the error man!

did you reinstalled the game after uninstalling AVG ? delete all AVG folders and documents, or if you have aany other antivirus program, such as nod, est or whatever, uninstall them too and then restart your pc, reinstall the game and try again.

^^ well norton 360 was on... so it was turned off etc.. and yes mate thanks to you i have a working SJSRO working. i rly appriciate all that u were doing to help me and i thankd u at forum :P

btw: i still dunno which server is the SJSRO u gave me :P new or old

heh, i don't know is it new or old, i donõt play in sjsro myself...always glad to help.
