Purchasing In-Game Goods Out-of-Game

Do you think more in-game items should be made available out-of-game?

Recently Riot decided to close its gift functionality. We think the idea of gifting and purchasing items out-of-game is awesome and want to hear your opinion.

You can buy goods outside of the game since the game client itself redirects you to some webpage but you need to bypass the check to access that webpage which is pretty hard.

And about gifting, since it is server controlled, once it's deactivated you won't be able to send gifts even if you succeed to reach gifting functions.

Note: AFAIK gifting skins is available via getting up votes on forums too.

Thanks for the response! What I had in mind with my original post was the notion that it would be cool if items were sold on an Amazon.com like site - perhaps the site could event have items from different games. This would allow non-gamers/ non-LOL players to buy LOL items as gifts to active players.

you can buy rp prepaid cards f.e. at pcgamesupply.com ant that card you could send to your friend.
