100 percent opacity shadow?

Anyone know what file to edit to make your shadow 100 percent opacity and make it a big black square? I already tried changing SimpleShadow.dds to full black, but it is only like 60% opacity, and it covers a good 100 pixels under the character, and to the sides of it.

I *believe* opacity for shadow is in the .c3, if not it may be hard coded.

Uh... I've done a 100 percent opacity shadow and it was still tuned down to like 60 or so.

Would suck if it was hard coded... I'll look through the .c3 stuff.

EDIT: What the hell? How do you open them?

Did you change the alpha layer to 100% opacity? -_-

What the hell is an alpha layer? The image is at 100 percent opacity, all the layers. None of the opacities are turned down at all. The problem is the game taking the image and toning it down. I'm trying to figure out if it was hard coded into the client or is in a file in the conquer folder. Unfortunately, I can't find anything. Anyways, it would be cool if you could make a layer 150 percent or something to compensate for the opacity lost.
