Client serial number?

Hi,

this question came to my mind, haven't seen that question asked anywhere..

Is there hidden serial number/code attached to each downloaded client?
since you have to login to download, it could be easy to implement..

Reason i'm asking this question is my paranoia.. I have "legal" account for everyday use, and i have another account where I am fooling around with some hacks..

For that other account, i have copied game files to my laptop, but i originally downloaded game from my legit account..

I'm using another computer/connection + private VPN for that shady account, but never tought about client files..

Anyone has any knowledge about built-in client security?

Your GW2.dat has a unique Id. So does your hardware.

I don't know whether it's sent or not.
Your pc name and specs are sent though.

Your local ip is sent, too.

Thanks, thats what i thought.
I believe they pair hardware(s) with client Id in their user db.

I thought i have it all covered..alternative ISP/connection/hardware..and then i copy client i dl'd with my legal acc to that clean environment..

I should receive some kind of reward for this stuff..
