Going to study MediaProduction next year , so I'm going to get a new portable computer. Now , for school , the best thing to get is a Macbook , wich would cost about 2,200 euro's. But the school says on their website that you can choose between PC and mac. So I was wondering, If i buy a pc (Alienware laptop for ex) of about 2,200 euro's , i'd have a far better pc for gaming related stuff.. But if it was possible to play on Mac i'd go for the Mac .. :D so , anyone?
thanks
(may seem noob but you never know :D)

u can run a windows emulator then run AL.

cpus are so fast now that emulating will not give any noticeable lag/performance hit

the new retina display macbook/pros are great and as long as you are not thinking of multiclienting 10 accounts then emulator is the way to go.

im NOT a mac expert so do ur own reseach 1st

luv the vids

I hate Apple, therefore I hate Mac. It's so very hipster :<

I'd go with a strong pc, Apple is just known for using semi-good hardware and selling it for double the price.

Alienware & Mac are the same sh*t. I'm saying this with no offence, these computers are highly overpriced and the performance which they provide is just average. Only plus for Mac is that the system doesn't crash so often. Definitely go for notebook or ultrabook with high performance.

hello Vuilblik,
i have a macbook pro and i am very good with it.
i use it for school, office, econmy and so on.
i really like it and i also work a lot with it.
one of my problems is that i am/was Archlord addicted, so i tryed different things.
emulator and bootloader... i dont like the windows virtuel machine on mac, itīs good and it also works fine, but itīs not made for gaming. so i just installed Windows 7 64x with the bootloader (bootloader is a part of the lion OS, so very easy and simple)
the only negative fact is, that i have to reboot the macbook for changing the OS.
everyone knows that the similar macbook hardware just costs 700€, but if you decide to buy a macbook then use windows in the bootloader.
i hope i could help you, sorry for grammar, i am online with iphone ;)

greetings,
