1. Can i get ingame ban for doing this?
No, up to this time we did not recive any report about getting ingame ban. Your account is safe.

2. Why everyone is speaking about BAN then? -.-
Because if they get you, you will most probably end with ref-a-friend ban. That means you wont be able to recruit friends in future.

3. When will next banwave occurs? -.-
We do think that within 1 month period so let's say 25/02/2013 or 25/03/2013 and so on ... but that is not 100% what so ever

4. They did not take everything from me :D!
Check your champs? Runes? Everything ... sometimes you lost other champion and it's skin instead of one you bought with rewarded RP. Try to close your lol's client and login again it may give you better picture what really happend.

5. If we bot our ref. acc to 30 lvl will that help us to dodge ban?
I have to try this and report back asap ... idea worthy of try but it will be able only for those who bot themselves (if you do not want to become an account seller though :D )


6. How many banweaves were before this one??
I think NHC will know to answer this question ... i think about 3? 10th august ... now? dunno

7. Fuck this i want my money back!! .i.
Do not play decoy or deaf moron you knew that this may lead to ref. ban and delition of your runes/skins/champs ... you have no right to chargeback your money anyhow. I think everyone who do that deserves perm acc / ip ban on this forum so far.

8. Refound? WTF are you talking about?
Some REF. service providers are giving you an opportunity to pay higher price so they give you 50% of it back in case of sudden ban. NHC for an example.


9. I am currently in 1.0 ref. ver. can i still get ban? As i know in old 1.0 ver. there were no such a things like bv :O ??
YES. Just tested it with my friend (old acc) and he got ref ban in his 1.0 ref-a-friend ver.

TL;DR it's not worth anymore doing refs because u'll probably get banned from the RAF system and all ur rewards will be taken as well.

I guess this was the 5th banwave. Not sure also but around that number...

Great post this will answer many of the common questions in clear way.

Refs it's a gambling, but riot bans 20% of the people. But one thing it's truth more people doing more actions riot will do to prevent this. So what I suggest to people don't be so greedy. Do a limit of refs per account. Take note to the accounts names you use and emails..

so they just randomly take skins? say i buy a legendary skin and already own another. they could take the one i owned instead of the one i bought?

usually no, but that happend to me dunno why ... also that is like 5% of diff.
so they are 95% accurate and they ll take what you bought with "cheated" rp ip...
for example they took my twitch but i had him before and kingpin skin
when i bought twitch again i had kingpin skin there ... ;)

How much time it usually tikes to update information abour refers? I created about 30 accounts with my referral link using nhccreator. And all of them are 5th lvl now. But my RaF page at official site says that i got 0 refs.

Usually within 24h but sometimes it really takes 72hours
