New SQL install -> Account does not exist O_o

Hey there ...

For some reason I needed to remove and install back SQL Server 2k8 R2 ...
I did as usually ... (default instance, mixed mode, gave sa password, configuration manager, linked back my shaiya DBs) ...

Now all the arrows in PSMServer_Mgr are green ...

But when I try to log on with the client, it says : "This account doesn't exist !!!" ....

So weird !!! :confused: (checked many times the account name and pw ... and on DB ....)
The fact is that my registration page works perfectly ... The account is created from the web ...
So why is the game doing this ??? it worked perfectly before the mssql remove/new-install .....

Need some help on this pleeeeaaassseee ^^

:facepalm: well atleast a bit he is right but what the right question would be is. Did u change the IP of the game.exe to the ip of ur server? otherwise the game.exe wont be able to connect.

Of course, the IP in the Game.exe is the same as my server's public IP ... If not, the Game wouldn't even launch and I would instantly get a "Checking server" error !

And I repeat: it worked perfectly before yesterday. I didn't modify anything in the game.exe since weeks ...
So, I guess the reinstall of SQL Server crashed something ... but I dunno what ...
Everything seems ok btw ... Even the Server_Mgr, the registration page or other codes can connect to the DB and do their job ... So why does the game.exe say the accounts don't exist ?

Yep I did ...
Anyway, It's now fixed ... I checked some logs and it seems the PS_UserData DB had a problem when I attached it to the new SQL install .... I reattached it, and it works again ...

But : I now encounter another problem .... The item mall DC !!!
The MSDTC service is running on Network Service account ...
I verified twice the cash.Sdata and item.Sdata (client and server side) ...
But still, I get disconnected when buying something ...
Any idea plz ?

Did it weeks ago ...... The MSDTC Service is the short name for "Distributed Transaction Coordinator" Service ... as it is told in this guide ! :rolleyes:

Well ... nevermind ...

Anyway, I don't know where was this error from, also it seemed a table's index was broken either on original files than modified ones...

But no help needed anymore, as I uninstalled SQL 2008R2, installed my 2012 version , and so, used another release of ep5 server files / DB wich actually work properly, even more than the older 5.3 I got from here !!!
Anyway, if someone has an answer about the error I got (see previous msg) wich occured at anytime and on ItemMall buying, it could help me a lot to be sure this wasnt my fault lol !!!!! (in case if this thread is closed answering to my own request, answer me on PrivateMessage on these forums)
