What about not choosing a side when your doing procyon or capella quest and just go pg at forgotten ruin or other war maps, so no one can see your name. Would that work?;p

Anyway, you can still get banned when people save you name in war channels, because it's still unique and it is the same name for every war channel.

But when I log in on CabalEU on the warchannel 24 I see all the normal names and not just something like this a89df8f. Did they changed it?

As dlnqt said, every name is unique, even war channel names.
GMs can also see every name normal, without the decryption.
