Is it just me...

Or have old jump servers completely died off? Spent about an hour trying to find one last night; to no avail. Seems like everytime I get the urge to start playing CO again, there's less and less old jump servers available. I know there's a plethora of newer servers available...but pirates irritate the hell out of me. ._.
Is it finally to the point where I have to get over it and put up with pirates?

Honestly old jump is a bit more annoying than it's often worth.

Most servers do not have enough client side security in place to ensure you don't replace it with the new jump files and if you do.... it becomes incredibly difficult to fb you because your jumps look completely screwed up on other people's screens. They jump like half way then just appear at a location then appear somewhere else... It's similar to trying to hit a speed hacker except they do stay on your screen longer.

The fact that old jump is usually geared towards pvp servers makes it even more frustrating which causes these servers to face even more issues then they already have.

TL: DR Yah you're probably stuck with newer stuff although Love 2 hate is pretty much the only server worth considering currently and I'm pretty damn sure they are using old jumps and certainly will be by the time they swap over to their custom source if they haven't already.

AcidCO still has old jump & Has the security to assure noone has swapped it out ;)
