This Application Needs To Be Closed

I have an heavy issue with AION.

I have played CBT before, and CLient of CBT was working 1000% fine at my machine.

Now, after a some break, i wanted to play OBT at ffree chinese servers.

I have downloaded whole stuff from Agony's Thread, checked it with MD5, reinstalled my OS, drivers...everything! I even uninstalled my firewall&antivir just to check...and still i have a error:

"AIONClient has encountered a problem and needs to be closed"

Here's a vid of it (2min lenght), it's in Polish tho, but i stated above what does error says.

Any Ideas how to fix that? Please, i have searched already at This Forum and via Google, i even bugged Agony for a while at his/her thread...

(It's very very condensated, just pause to see details )

did you have the latest updates on your OS ? (SP3, .net framework etc)

Btw. Do you really think ,if CBT Client worked before, that it might be lack of those updates? Im just curious.

Yes i did check.

A friend gave me a hand and gave me his old g.card - Radeon 9200SE ( whaddashit,lol) and guess what!

Game Runs! ( ofc its unplayable, but i see login screen! )

So obviously it's my Galaxy GeForce 7300GT fault...

I have the newest drivers 182.50.

Maybe someone knows some alternative drivers? Links are greatly welcome!

Maybe it's just too old. :s

try older ones ;)

or try to use user modified driver.

Ok, some technical info.

( I have 2 PC's )

1st:
-AMD Athlon XP O/C to 3,2GHz
-2GB 400MHz RAM
-Galaxy GeForce 7300GT 256MB 1.4ns
-Gigabyte Ga7n400Pro2
-Seagate 7200.9 160GB ATA , sadly :(

And AION doesnt work at 1st machine.

2nd(supposed to be MSOffice + Internet surfing only):

-AMD Athlon x2 2.4GHz each core
-512MB 667MHz RAM
- some MSI m.board
- Palit GeFroce 6800LE
-Seagate 7200.9 80 GB SATAII

And AION works at this machine!! with average FPS ~70 ! But FPS falls to ~4-10 in cities xD

I was trying to copy&paste ForceWare Drivers from 2nd machine to 1st one ( ForceWare 77.72) but it said that 7300GT isn't supported by 77.72 version O.o

While 68.82 supports it...

Eh, im still fighting, im not sure if its g,card fault...but it's mostly like so...i belive.

Worst thing is that i got error saying nothing at all! I have no clue what to fix...f@cking Microsoft...giving just an error that says that application is need to be closed is kinda lame...how am i supposed to fix that with literally 0 information who/what made that errror... >.<

I get the same error, it's so annoying, after 9 hours of downloading I just want to play. >_>

Maybe it's old but should work, especially if 6800LE works pretty well!

Im still fighting...maybe someone knows application that spy other ones for changes? something that could create log from which i could exctract some critical information WHY THE HELL i get that error and WHO THE HELL causes it :<

No one has any idea on this? It's so frustrating.

Well, I thought the issue was solved ? Apparently his graphic card is not compatible with Aion. So your one presumably does not work either. Otherwise try to format your harddrive, or switch your RAM, maybe Aion needs some parts of already damaged memory areas.

Yeah maybe my download was damaged, I doubt its my GC, I can run every game on max settings.
