Linking Server

Hi epvpers,

Someone knows how to solve this?

After i choose character and click "Start" , i become the error message "Try to reconnect server" . I think it is a problem with the link server, the link server dont run. Ive try to start the link server under services but there is only the error message " cant find data or cant find datapath" . i dont know how to solve it. I try with search last 2 days , but there was only 1 topic over this from Omega and that dont work for me.

Trouble with linked servers usually comes from a bad installation of Sql Server or the named pipe settings are wrong. The easiest way to fix it is to completely uninstall Sql Server, then reinstall. Be sure to select 'Default Instance' when prompted during the Sql Server installation or your linked servers will be jacked from the get go.

That happened to me is easy to solve, but it depends if you have the right database everything is fine with the MySQL server, if not well omega files DOWNLOAD ---> Give credit to omega [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] , and if not this friend the files you have to edit are in PSM_Client folder -> bin -> Settings-> psm_game, ps_gamewar, ps_session
and
PSMServer_Mgr.exe PSM_Server the folder and edit GameGroups01 on the part of public ip and put your ip ready that would be all, remember what I say just edit gamepublicip. Good luck and I hope aya friend served

The SQL Installation is fine.

change the path manual in your "REGEDIT"

and what should i enter after ; HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\ ... ??
