The exploit doesn't involve changing CP, it involves adding CP. The CP charm code, for example, changes the CP address' value just like you would with cheat engine.

it's simple just put one town return scrool into trade and go cheat engine and search 1026
after go to game and take the town return scrool and put into inventary and now in CE you see something changet from 1026 to 0 add that address put again one town return scrool after that change 1026 to "1450"
and that it is 5000cp :) goodluck

"1449" - 100cp
"1448" - 500cp
"1447" - 1000cp
"1450" - 5000cp

Sorry, that's still clientsided. TIP: The method is in no way based on items.

I would think CP is server sided? but i'm not 100%
