Nexus-WoW is a team of dedicated and caring staff and community with our aim on providing the best and most enjoyable WoW experience to our players. We have restructured and relaunched with new rates, new challenges and new opportunities for both old and new players.

We are the only server with custom events that are not only fun but tell a gripping story and help to engage the players in unique and untold ways. Faction Leader attacks like our Thrall Seeks Blood event where Thrall attacked Stormwind. The Caravan is a new idea bringing players together to both defend and attack in an epic escort mission to places unknown. Finally our World Scale Events such as the Scourge Invasion which included a one month long battle against the Scourge army across all the lands of Azeroth, ending in a massive attack on Ironforge and Orgrimmar and allowed players the opportunity to purchase Guards and Siege Vehicles to defend their city. new server?

Server has been around for several months, we recently underwent a total restructure. We switched to 1x rates to create a true blizzlike experience and did a one time only wipe of the character database. This allows players the chance for everyone to start on an even playing field. With the new rates we're about 2 weeks old now.

That's a funserver, we don't want a funserver. We want to create a true blizzlike experience with 1x rates. What we offer though is constant updates like how we've fixed HoR and Ruby Sanctum and are now working on Gunship Battle. Also our events both small and large like our World Events are something no other server is able to offer.

You cant prevent DDOS that easily, u would need to terminate every unclosed connection. But even the deetection mechanism would make your server collabse. No way dude. You can only prevent it getting attacked by Anonymous "Ion-Cannon" but noone is using this anymore....

Unless of course we have an incredibly high amount of bandwidth which prevents the server from being taken down by DDOS attacks, in addition to our industry grade website and forums. Finally we have a solid web development team which quickly identifies and blocks incoming DDOS attacks.

We take our server seriously. We have been targetted heavily for DDOS attacks in recent months and while almost all other servers have had significant downtime or have been taken down entirely, we remain online with 99.9% guaranteed up time, without rollbacks or interference.

Our team isn't just filled with random children like most other servers. Our staff includes qualified individuals who work in the IT field in their personal careers. These people have the the experience, training and access to appropriate hardware/software to properly protect our server. In this age many servers are being hit with DDOS attacks, it's a popular method, a method we don't take lightly.

Just because we're the only server who cares enough about their player base to go through these steps and additional out of pocket expenses doesn't mean it's not possible.
