Just because you edit it on client side, does not mean gold will magically add up in the database.

do you know how to hack and i mean hack into databases of companies and get past firewalls and all the lil doo dads...if so then have a ball if not no1 else here does so dont bother askin

man u cant hack anything in games like EO...the client gets the orders by a tabe in the db called cq_action and cq_task...u cant change them if u dont hack the db...so instead of making fake hacks with CE try to find other way...

You could try packet scanning to find your database ip address then writing a program to interact with the database using the SA account. If MSSQL if you get lucky theirs probably a config file on the server itself with the database connection information inside and through including that file perhaps. Generally though it all comes down to finding the common holes in database design and exploiting them. If theirs a web-login based launcher on this game. It gets easier still though the use of a spider to download the website so as to gain the required connection information for the database since it would check your username and password against the dbase. So not impossible by any stretch you just gotta think outside the box. Though this is mostly conjecture those methods are exploited on a daily basis against various websites.

p.s. Firewall's are no concern if you find the incoming connection port number and marshal everything through it. In fact firewalls are nearly useless unless you set ip-ranges for connections and MAC addresses. But since the SA account would be used from anywhere in the world what would be the purpose of that. It would simply block all the gamer's from playing in the first place.

there are only 2 ways to do that for real...

grab the packets server side sends to you (client side) edit them before client sends back to server.. and uh... good luck with that... its damn fast...

OR.. actualy hack them for real.. and go to jail..

how come nobody deciphers the encrypted packets and find hacks that way? cause once you can view all the packets anythings possiable
