Could just try using the built in speed hack. It use to work quite well.

Use CE.
be unmounted
scan type - float
value = unknown
scan once
go on your mount
scan "increased value"
dismount
scan "decreased value"
mount...
etc
then you get like 2 addresess left? don't remember
change the value to like 10 and freeze it
and bamn, speed hack
I believe unmounted your default speed is 5.7 or something, not certain :S been forever. The range of scan should be between 2 and 10 if you want to focus it down easier
