Hi guys
You have opened this thread after attempts to delete the GameGuard from SFrame.exe but it seems I didn't succeed in so I thought a little help with the possibility to delete the GameGuard [combination] ...

any SFrame higher than epic 4 (i belive) uses gamegaurd.

gamegaurd does not have an build-in-libary check like hackshield does have.

other words :

to remove it, your current looking way-way-way off from where you should be looking, it has nothing to do with sframe.exe at all sframe.exe is just an accesspoint.

to get you an way of how it works you need to find the source :

lets go thru this.

1. start launcher -> press launch
2. splashloading comes up (splashloading.exe)
3. GameGaurd update(s) / check(s)
4. GameOpen (sframe.exe booted.)

so you need to check : number 2.

than delete the calling function wich is probaly : 0000EA8C (0252)

goodluck ^^

heres a small gift :

( gameguard uses :)

KERNEL32.DLL
ADVAPI32.dll
COMCTL32.dll
GDI32.dll
OLEAUT32.dll
USER32.dll
VERSION.dll
WININET.dll

This is sframe.exe that launch gameguard, as before there was no splash (it was a black window, the game one, but frozen). If you want to have a sframe without gameguard, use the ph/masg one.

For unpacking, if i remember right, the ph/masg version use themida, european version use aspack. Don't know for the us version, but i would think it's aspack too. And i don't think removing gameguard is just removing a function call, there is a kind of keep-alive system between gameguard and sframe, if one of them does not respond to the other, rappelz will stop with an error message (probably like "gameguard communication line as been disconnected" or so).

I don't know very well packers internals, but i think aspack is easier to unpack.

So true about communication line, forgot that.

Meh just decrypt client packets and code it into a small code response server... Unfortantly theres no chance this person can do it like that ....

Yea use .PH version they dont use. GG

GG do SFrame and refer to it when you replace the SFrame rate [in other words no GG] replaces only the SFrame GameGuard won't work and becomes adjustable freely
