Shaiya is a dead game. I dont get why people still play Aeria's perverted money game.
I sent a ticket asking about pets in 2008., they're implementing it in 2013. Good joke, right?

This was the mistake of more than just Aeria. Aeria is the first company to blame because they are the official distributors of the english version of the game, but as far as I know, Sonov/Choi Rock set a very high cost for Aeria to distribute Shaiya, which may have influenced them somehow into making the game more expensive.
Still, they seem to like it this way. I don't see any reaction from Aeria to anything at all. They created Phoenix, which is a piece of shit just like the other 4 servers.
During the last week's GRB on Phoenix the trade chat was full of 'yo mama' "jokes", and I dared to say "AGE's so dumb they kill a game and wonder why it died.", and not surprisingly, many players agreed with me. My account is still not banned, you know, they used to ban for saying "nub". I've also done more dumb things, not giving a single damn about my account, and it's still not banned. That's just their attitude towards the game/community.
Also, it is full of dupers. A friend of mine bought duped OPs and they simply wiped the OPs and duped items, no roll-back, nothing = dupers won, people got scammed, fucks weren't given.
Not to mention when they screwed the EXP and for one day nobody could grind, and there was no compensation for the lost time, and the lost time on the Stones and Charms players had activated.
The only hope for Shaiya are the well-protected private servers with professional admins, which are quite rare. In rest, unfortunately, Shaiya is dead, though it was good while it lasted.

LOL Aeria banned my account long ago. because i used a name change scroll "That i had bought from them with real money" to change my name to "AeriaSux".

In addition to some parts nubness has mentioned: I've been statpadding, on many different toons, and Aeria didnt give a fuck. Im sure they noticed (because isnt a 5000kill/0death toon suspicious?), but none of my accounts were banned. Why? Probably because I invested some pocket money now and then, and this is not the only case in which a cought cheater didnt get what he deserves. Many scammers, hackers or other statpadders didnt get banned or at least their ranks removed, but I know one case in which a massive AP buyer got banned for statpadding and selling ingame items for cash, 4 months later he got his account back, but his rank was removed.
Aeria is pathetic, nothing else but beggars.

Why is it that the "good" Servers fail and the "nub" ones get the players? I can say that everyone agrees that EP4 (evtl. EP4.5 with first enchants introduced) was the best Shaiya ever. Nowadays Shaiya players have gone retarted for prefering Servers in which you can reach 8k atk power, 3500 defense, Priests/Orcs being immortal due to all the Rec and Resist, is that Shaiya?
No, its not. Yes, EP4 was the time when some players could 1shot others, simply because they knew how to build a character and spent some time farming to link up (getting a Dual/Lv5 Lapis Link I had back then wasnt hard, and I still got a good amount of kills, even against people that had 5/6 Lapis linked, because I had a good build). Nowadays all you have to do as a DPS Class is to go full str and link the freaking 7/8/9 Lapis you can find on almost every Private Server. Thats far from what Shaiya is meant to be...

and FliP, if what you said is your absolute reason for which you prefer ep4, then I can easily say that it's not a problem at all, decrease the stats of the lapis and gear and weapons and you're good to go with any higher episode.
