I noticed that the hitting sounds are removed for chars who have casted a chinese Guard of Ice or Fire Protection skill (exception: range attacks). For chinese only servers, this means the hitting sound effects are 99%ly removed at all from pvp. Pvp without any hitting sound is really boring (check it out on any ch only server).
Do you have an idea how to restore the hitting effects with a mod? This would be awesome and would increase the Silkroad pvp quality a lot because the original solution is so bad that many people think the thing with the hitting effects was a bug (I thought that too before I understood the bad system).
