Stay away from that shit, IPB contains some Vulnerabilities.
No, i won't explain it here.

use phpbb, mybb, wbb.

But if you want to stay secure, use one of the 3 above.

btw: MyBB is near the same as vb-board (what epvp use)
the name "myBB" is only not so public as phpbb, but from the features MyBB is better as phpbb.

It is even better to use a Open Source-Script, because many people work on that.
If some coder miss a vulnerability another coder will fix it.

Not really it has security and you have to follow the process in till you can secure it so it is secured. i used it from day one and never have had anyone get in or such as that, yes they have tried and failed, failed.
Follow the list of security in your admin panel and it will guide you to fix all of your security issues then once done you do not need to worry as you are peripher.

Well, use what you want but i can say that they are vulnerabilities in 3.3.1 up to 3.3.4.

It is up on yourself, all I can say is: i would never use IP Board - People should use what they want.

I know things about Security (Web Applications etc) .

Anyway, nice release for those who use IP Board.

I agree with Peripher here. I would stay as far from IP Board as possible, because all versions (old and new) have numerous vulnerabilities, including sql injection and null-byte attacks.

I recommend MyBB aswell, but PHPBB has more "manuals" on use I find.

In other words if you are experienced in IPB forums then you won't need to worry as long as you know what your doing. But PHPBB i have tested and for me easy to get info, but that is me not others.
but yeah straight forward.
