scanning a weapon or armor

has anyone got any idea on successfully scanning your weapons using CE? I keep having an error value when I try to scan it.

have u tried HEX editor? im using it to edit the delay time of pots.. but i think it has no effect bec. its server sided... unlike in RF they have what they call the hotswap to equip edited armors/weaps..:bandit:

can you teach me?I keep on searching it...
