How to make private server

anyone expert can post how to make a private server with there tools and how can i create a virtual website to post on it a server i tried SQL server and i have all data bases but i dont know how to use them can anyone explain how to do that . thanks :)

If you don't know how to make a server, you should learn a lot, and then, in a year or two, you should open your server. We don't need more ill-organized servers.

BTW i do the database of SQL server and done the ODBC and iis but i cannot create the server that's why i need to know if i do anything wrong or not
