[Question] Php password question

ppl I got a question... I made a server after a guide... and if some1 wanna edit my database is easy because he can connect with [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] cause the password and acc are same like the guid... I tried to change them and the mysql cant read the database.... how can I protect my php??:rtfm:

Just change phpmyadmin file name to ''asdasdkasj'' lol you done.

bad... now the ppl cant connect anymore... need to reinst app... can u give me the exact location of that file... there are more files with that name :(

just rename this c:/wamp/phpmyadmin to phpmysuckadmin or phpmyidiotadmin vs vs

hmmm wtf... in c:\wamp I dont have any folder named phpmyadmin just php... and if I edit it... same.... :(((((

and hmmm I work with appserv.... why I need to change the name of a file from wamp? :-ss

ok mar1u$

reinstall Appserv ( appservnetwork.com )

then go into the www folder and rename phpmyadmin to something secret such as

databaseholder , shanghaigm , wootwoot, .

then go to localhost/wootwoot ( or whatever you named it ) and it should work

by the way when you installing it says servername and it says for example [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

just put there localhost

LOL @ idiots still using unsecure test/test defaults for tq binary.

Changing phpmyadmin to another name won't do squate when they can just use any other tool to access your sql lol

friend... it work... but now I got a problem.... the acc reg page.... it got a bug.... can't register anymore accounts.... :(

thx anyway..... but I reainstalled again... and remake the index from co folder and now it work... and the phpmyadmin work to... changed it and ppl cant enter anymore... thx a lot:handsdown:

Just renaming it won't help make sure you set up a .htaccess on your phpadmin folder.

i already helped him stop tying to confuse and actaully renaming works fine. ive done it before
