Wii U :Without Online Pass

Many companies over the last years used the "trick" called online pass in order to prevent users from buying second hand games. Couple of weeks ago Namco announced that Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for Wii U will not require online pass, in contrast with other fighting editions of this popular game for PS3 or XBOX. Last week was announced that three more titles won't require online pass:
Mass Effect 3 and Fifa13 from EA
and Assasin's Creed III from Ubisoft.
This change of course as far as the online passes is concerned is till now unexplainable. Unless Nintendo imposes publishers to put this restrictive rule, then no other logical explanation can be found. The only thing that we know for sure is that from the above titles even if you buy them second hand, you will still be able to play them online without spending any more money on online passes.
Lastly, a new feature that has been on the internet is that Wii U users will be able to stream mp4 videos from your computer to your TV or gamepad. Unfortunately, our information regarding this feature are limited.
