Shaiya Server: A Few Small Issues

Hello again :)

I'm doing some great work with my server. Almost done with the interface of my client and almost done adding the ep6.3 gears in as GM items. I have a few small problems that are really fucking the entire server up, though. Hoping someone can help.

1. PLH doesn't work. Period. Whenever I use a PLH it steals the lapis and a lucky charm and doesn't link anything. But on the dialogue box it says "linking chance 100%"

2. Every time someone logs out the "Leave" value in PS_GameData_UsersMaster is set to 1. It doesn't change back to 0, therefor every time someone logs out, they can't log back in until I go to the database and change it back.

3. Having trouble with some php scripts....The database information is correct, however the scripts don't function. I know this is difficult to understand....but I can't explain each one. I'll give an example.
I have a PVP rank script. Whenever I open it, it says "no results to display". For the script that checks who is online, it is just blank. I have tried changing the user information, and I have it right. Any suggestions?

4. I also want to add something, and I have no idea how to do it. I don't really want to just put the idea into a public thread, but it is really cool and complicated and I need some help. If you're an experienced DEV and you're serious about helping me with it, add me on skype (coolwier65) and help. It'd be much apprecaited!

i don't know what "PLH" is but: 100% Linking Chance is stored in: ps_game.exe and also need a change at game.exe.

Please provide logs. Apache-Error Logs etc. It seems like some misconfiguration on your Apache-Server.

1. PLH = Perfect Linking Hammer. But I guess I'll just use the 100%. Is there any way to make it...say...90%?

3. The apache server has the mssql modules enabled. I don't believe it is an error with apache, because I checked the error logs. There is nothing there.

4. Hmmm....I have shstudio. What I don't understand is how to make the item, make it do something when clicked, and how to add it to a merchant.

No, there is no way because ps_game.exe stops at 50% chance. You have to change ps_game.exe AND game.exe.

Did you changed your mssql_connection.php in your scripts ?

Let's use Clean Hit Nostrum for example:
It's an Item which turned into a Skill. It's stored in Skill.SDATA.
if you take a look at Item.SDATA > ItemID: 10005
in the Colnum "Range" -> 204 , 204 is the Skill which will be used for this Item.

Another example:
Etain Potion -- > 10001 (ItemID) take a look at your Item.SQL
colnums: ConstHP, ConstAP/MP
: 75, 75, 75 which means that this Item will give you 75% of your life, mana and stamina back.

You can add Items on Merchants by using SHStudio and NPCQuest.SDATA.

yup there is a way. in ps_game u change the stuff that the linkign rate is 50% always now it depend on the linking hammer and on the lapi u link. what u can do is pick a special hammer that makes it 50 or which is more easy. change the linking % of ur lapis to the amount u want but remember that the shown 1-50% of the linking chance in the lapis discription goes toghter with the 50% of the ps_game.exe enabled ones. so u always need to count the linking chances toghter. Like that u can have for different lapis a different linking chance up to 100% linking (that is all meant with an Operators Exclusive ofc ;))

This is the directory....10.0.0.12 is the local network IP of my dedi and the web address for my network is afwhome.org

So afwhome.org/php should work just fine...:/

So your Domain afwhome.org, points to 10.0.0.12 , right?
i can not check it right now because i am at work.

Please take care of your php directory.
Just use .htaccess because an evil visitor can use some scripts for bad things.

The directory is fine. You should be able to open it...just fine. The scripts aren't working, therefor nobody could use them =P

If you talking about "local"-IP only people in your Network can open it.
I also can't open 10.0.0.12 - I don't know from which Company this IP is, but it looks like Hamachi. So please share your scripts for everyone (public) or send me a private message with your Address, because I won't join Hamachi. - Sorry

It's not Hamachi. And I'm not a networking novice. 10.0.0.12 is the internal network IP for one of my dedis (the one hosting shaiya and the web server). The external IP of my router is controlled by afwhome.org and the directory /php is there and intact. I'm not sure what issue you are having getting there, but I assure you it isn't a problem on my end. If you'd like to add me on Skype or something, I could send you the files or you could try them out.
