How to boost fps on PlanetSide 2

1. Go to the in-game settings, set the overall quality to low then to custom and exit the game.
2.Launch the game again but do not press play, instead click on the wrench icon on the bottom left and click "Open game directory" as shown below.

3.Find and open the "useroptions.ini" file in the opened folder and make the following changes

[Rendering]

ShadowQuality=0
RenderDistance=1000.000000
MaximumFPS=61
VSync=0

[Terrain]
RenderFlora=Off

Next go into your graphics card control panel and set Anisotrophic Filtering to 8x.

Finally you want to download SweetFX 1.3 Which is attached below

(Note SweetFX is a shader injection mod, which allows you to tweak the colour, gamma, exposure; this in turn could warrant a ban since it is modifying game files, however i don't imagine that would happen since Matt Higby who is the Creative Director for PlanetSide 2 said he uses SweetFX also for the game; that and multiple people who are playing the game are using it.

After SweetFX has finished downloading you want to copy all the files from the rar file directly into your game installation directory.

And that's it.

(Your game should look it has filmtweaks btw if you've done it right)

SweetFX

PS: It helepd me alot ->from~30 FPS to ~60 FPS!
PSē:There is a chance you could get banned yes, however i think that too many people use it so it's very unlikely that you would get a ban

hm... i saw an big building (dunno the names, play PS2 since 3 hours), it is really dark when i look near it, when i look another way the screen is really bright, the brightness is ok, but the dark screen when i look near the building is annoying :/

Yeah, already tried, but with the "normal" SFX i got bad FPS, with the fix i got good FPS, so i dont care about the brightness :P
